Good basic engineering text on fiber and cable cable

This book covers all the basics of fiber and fiber cable technology. The meant audience seems to be engineers at fiber and cable producing plants. Most fiber books concentrate on end-users of fiber or designers of fiber electronics; i'm not attentive to any others written for this specific audience.
