Good basic engineering text on fiber and cable cable

This book covers all the basics of fiber and fiber cable technology. The supposed audience seems to be engineers at fiber and cable producing plants. Most fiber books specialise in end-users of fiber or designers of fiber electronics; i'm not tuned in to any others written for this explicit audience.
