GIS for Managers, Not for Teckies

This book starts off saying 'If you are holding his book, maybe it's as a result of you have been charged with launching or implementing a geographic data system a GIS for your organization.' That single sentence as good as sums up the intent, the meant audience, and therefore the direction that this book takes.
This is a replacement paperback edition that has been updated in response to client input and with knowledge updated to replicate happenings since the last edition. the majority of the book hasn't modified that a lot of, in spite of everything the fundamental ideas of what GIS will do for you and the way to implement it haven't modified that a lot of. To make certain the small print of the out there software have modified a trifle, however the fundamental ideas haven't.
This is not a technical book on doing GIS, is} a book for managers which will tell him what can be expected from a GIS system and provides the manager enough data that he will not be snowed by the teckies implementing the system.
